Meet Charlotte

About Charlotte Capan, founder of LetzCook
Charlotte’s love for cooking began at a young age in the form of a small oven with the amazing baking power of a high wattage light bulb. She proudly produced many delectable Easy-Bake treats for her family and friends.
From her childhood home in Minnesota, Charlotte set out for Southern California to pursue an education in fashion and business. Upon graduation, Charlotte worked in a variety of positions for some key players providing her with a vast wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience in business operations, marketing and management.
After moving to the Bay Area in 1999, Charlotte followed her adoration for cooking and took a position in operations with the California Culinary Academy (CCA). After realizing the benefit large companies found in attending their cooking events, Charlotte knew it was time to combine her business background with her love of the culinary world and the rest, as they say, is history. LetzCook was formed in 2004 and continues to grow working with all the top Bay Area companies. Charlotte has taken her love for all things food-related and combined with her passion for travel and added the “food tour experience” in 2015, taking groups through Italy and Ireland to experience the “best of the best” in her local food finds over the years
Charlotte’s philosophy is that food brings people together and cooking together builds confidence and creativity, whether it’s a corporate team-building event or simply a memorable gathering of family and friends. Charlotte is dedicated to serving up a memorable occasion.
In addition to launching and running LetzCook, Charlotte owned and operated an Italian import food business for 8 years and continues to split her time between Europe and the Bay Area. She continues to scour gourmet markets across the world, utterly fascinated with all of the regional delicacies and ingredients—a hobby enjoyed wherever her travels take her.
